Biblical Courses
Old Testament (OT) 8 weeks
An overview of the Old Testament’s books, categories, and context. Themes, characters, and chronological flow will be analyzed and studied with the goal of understanding the purpose of God throughout the first 39 books of the Bible.
New Testament (NT) 8 weeks
An overview of the New Testament’s books, letters, and context. Doctrine, characters, and chronological flow will be analyzed and studied with the goal of understanding the purpose of God throughout the last 27 books of the Bible.
Hermeneutics/Theology (H/TH) 8 weeks
This course focuses on the interpretation of Biblical texts. Interpretation methods are analyzed and practiced. Biblical passages are questioned and filtered within the appropriate context. Hermeneutical resources are also presented and studied.
Apologetics (APL) 8 weeks
Apologetics is the defense of faith. How does one defend what they believe in? This course focuses on controversial beliefs and how one can defend them. A believer must learn the tools and appropriate strategies to defend Biblical doctrine.
Leadership Courses
Emotional Intelligence (SEI) 8 weeks
Ministerial leadership is a calling that overtakes all of one’s being. As one prepares to lead, one must also be attentive and self-aware of their inner being. Interactions with many individuals require an interaction with the self. In this course, the student learns about the importance of their emotions as a leader.
Marriage and Family (MF) 8 weeks
The first ministry every human being has is family. This course focuses on the management and godly rhythm that a ministerial leader should have regarding ministry assignments and family.
Discipleship Methods (DM) 8 weeks
This course focuses on discipleship strategies. As a believer grows and learns more about the word of God, they must also disciple others. This is a vital part of team leadership. A team leader is not only leading a non-profit organization team, they are also discipling and walking in life with their team members.
Organizational Methods (OM) 8 weeks
This course focuses on developing leadership and administration skills. The student will learn how to build the infrastructure of a team and how to communicate vision and direction. Such skills will help a leader to be efficient and effective in the context of team collaboration.
